Sri Sarvamangala | 13th Lunar Day

Sri Sarvamangala means the “all-auspicious one" and rules over the Trayodashi tithi, which is the 13th lunar day!

The nakshatras associated here are of Punarvasu and and the first two padas of Shatabhisha. If your moon lands on these, then Sri Sarvamangala and Trayodashi tithi is something to keep in mind.

On this day, the devotee wakes up from its deep sleep and enters into a state of awareness that follows with the rest of the tithis. As it is co-ruled by Jupiter, it enables our ability to connect to an internal wisdom and aids in clarity. Just as lessons can come in harmonious ways, sometimes we learn through tough love and that’s exactly what Sri Sarvamangala is known for. She grants blessings but sometimes blesses in difficult ways.

Today, we are more open to receiving inner and outer guidances. There is an element behind allowing our bitter experiences to help us flourish without resentment for ourselves and for others. This is an auspicious day to rise above feelings of selfishness and to feel inspired by the good and bad that is around us.

There is an interesting story involving the Star, Moon and Jupiter (Tara, Chandra and Brihaspati) but I recommend purchasing the book: Journey with the Moon to read the rest of it!

Her mantras include: OM AIM HRIM SHRIM OM SARVAMANGALAYAI NAMAH + OM AIM HRIM SHRIM OM PRITIYAI NAMAH

Connect to gratitude today. It’s a beautiful way to expand your energy.
